About ABC Travel Guides for Kids

The idea for ABC Travel Guides for Kids started in 2001 during a family trip to Boston. My wife and I were discovering that a trip to a new place represented a great learning experience for our two year old daughter. However, the basic travel guide I had purchased was not written for families or kids. We were missing the opportunity to turn a family trip into a fun learning experience for our little girl.

Our daughters are now seven and four years old. Many trips later, we still travel a lot, and together we select kid-friendly places to explore and feature in our books. With great care we create our ABC Travel Guides using colorful photographs and a custom map illustrating the ABC's of the featured city. Kids can have fun connecting the images with the sites they are visiting, and at the same time learn fun facts.
